Snack Program
At SFPCC, we serve a morning and afternoon snack and organic milk during lunchtime. Daily snacks and milk are automatically included with tuition. The Center does not serve lunch; children bring their lunch from home every day.
Snacks include fruits, vegetables, dairy products, grains, and protein sources. In the older classes, sometimes a snack is the result of a classroom cooking project! When the weather is nice, we occasionally have snacks outside on the surrounding Harvard Business School grounds.
Special food needs are accommodated whenever possible. For children with allergies or families whose diets are different from those of the Center (e.g., vegetarian), we will be happy to work with you to provide appropriate substitutions for your child.
Due to a large number of children with severe allergic reactions to nuts, the Center strives to be “nut-free.”
