At SFPCC we serve a morning and afternoon snack as well as organic milk during lunchtime. Daily snacks and milk are automatically included with tuition.
Snacks usually consist of fruit, vegetable, cheese, yogurt, cereal, crackers, and water—in various combinations. In the older classes, sometimes snack is the result of a classroom cooking project! When the weather is nice, we occasionally have snack outside on the surrounding Harvard Business School grounds.
Special food needs are accommodated whenever possible. In the case of children with allergies, or families whose diets are different from those of the Center (e.g. vegetarian) we will be happy to work with you to provide appropriate substitutions for your child.
Due to a large number of children with severe allergic reactions to nuts, the Center strives to be “nut-free.”
